Multimedia installation (multichannel sound, drawing, sculptural elements). Exhibited at Cámara de Comercio in 2012, and Galeria NC-Arte, Bogotá in 2013.
This installation mixes sonic elements from the Amazon Rainforest, displaced from its place of origin, combined with a cartographic illustration of the mountain area in Alberta, Canada and the Magdalena River in Honda, Tolima.
The main purpose of this work is to explore the importance of water as a powerful element of transformation in the landscape. The metaphor of the landscape, featuring fishing nets and mountain profiles, was made possible using diverse subtle elements, such as gauze, fishing sinkers and photography.
This project was possible by the support of the Banff Art Centre, the Ministry of Culture of Colombia and the Asia City Trust.
