In 2005, I presented at Galería Casas Reigner in Bogotá the project “Abismo” (Abyss). This exposition was the result of a previous visit to Peru, in particular Machu Picchu and the coastal area of Paracas. The exhibition consisted of collected fragments of the landscape – objects and photographs –which enabled the spectator to establish a direct relation with those places. The installation “Techito” (little roof), elaborated in hemp, comprised a great horizontal surface hung through- out a room, suggesting sensations of weightlessness, emptiness, and lightness. Robert Storr curator of the Venice Biennale, 52 International Art Exhibition 2007 selected a fragment of the project Abyss to be exhibited at the Arsenalle Venue.
