The largest Saline desert of the world, located at the Potosí region in Bolivia, was another geographic feature that captured my attention. In Uyuni, I wanted to understand the associations between limits, frontiers and horizons, with one final purpose: recognize the existence of emptiness in vast territorial exten- sions. This project, named “359 ̊”, was selected to compete in the 5th version of the Luis Caballero Award at the city of Bogotá. The project was displayed at the Santa Fe Gallery in Bogota (2009), and it was later exhibited at the KBK Gallery of Contemporary Art in Mexico City (2009). My intention was to continue exploring the relationship between landscape and path by using drawings, sculpture, and sounds as part of the display.
